About me
Hi, my name is Gabrielle. After becoming a mother in 2019 and moving to the Kansas City metro in 2021, I was inspired to start a blog and community to connect with other parents and caregivers who are all looking for fun things to do in this city! At first, I found it very intimidating to take my “two under two” to different places. After starting small with walks in the neighborhood, parks, and libraries, we hit our stride! Now we love to explore and experience different activities and sites together.
A few things I love about KC? A London Fog from McLain’s Market KC, a smokey Joe from Joe’s KC BBQ, a walk at Shawnee Mission Park, Union Station at Christmastime, all the fun pumpkin patches, and enough thrift stores for a fabulous Saturday of strolling!
Kansas City is full of family-friendly things to do - ranging from art to sports to play to nature! I hope to create a community where we share our tips and ideas for adventuring in Kansas City as a family. Thanks for being here!
