2. Humanette Kinder Café - Currently Closed

Nestled in the heart of Brookside, Humanette Kinder Café offers a European-inspired children’s play café experience. This spot features engaging toys and activities for little ones, while parents enjoy artisanal coffee and light bites in a stylish setting. There’s plenty of space to work in the cafe, but you can also rent a private room if you need to take a meeting or phone call. This large space also includes a nursing/feeding room, a baby section, an art station, and a large play set with a slide and a cozy reading nook. They host parties, special events, happy hours, and story hours. Evenings are available which is perfect for working parents or after-school visits. Plus, they offer beer and wine (ages 21+) in their cafe!

4. K&B Tiny Town

Parkville, MO finally has a soft play space for kids! Located at Creekside in Parkville, K&B Tiny Town offers an adorable little town with a child size bank, police station, market, animal hospital, hair salon, and ice cream truck. My kids loved playing and pretending here! They also recently added a Sky Maze play place, great for using up some physical energy. K&B Tiny Town also has a small cafe with a large seating area and even a private nursing mother’s room. You can keep the playdate going longer by visiting one of the shops or restaurants at Creekside like KC Scoops ice cream shop or Gusto! coffee shop.

This unique play space for kids offers studio art, sensory play, dramatic play, and a great mix of books & toys! Paperback Playhouse also features a great retail space with books and giftable items! You’ll want to stop here for a play session and pick up that gift you need for an upcoming birthday party. My kids loved the playhouse, reading nook, and all the creative art supplies! If your child enjoys open ended art, this is the perfect spot to play. Plus, you can invite a friend and have conversation while your kids play together! While this spot doesn’t offer a full cafe, it does have a small coffee nook with free self-serve coffee.

8. Rough & Bumble

Lee’s Summit has a new indoor play spot for little ones - Summit Play Village! This adorable spot has little houses and businesses to create an imaginary village for kids. Kids can also enjoy physical play on the indoor play set with a slide. This spot recently added a coffee corner so it’s a great spot for parents to relax and kids to play!

10. Tiny Tots Indoor Play
